Dennis joined Lambert Coffin as an associate in August 2003. Dennis maintains a broad general practice, with a focus on civil litigation. He has represented both businesses and individuals in Maine courts involving a wide variety of claims ranging from construction negligence claims, wrongful employment termination, trademark violations, and estate inheritance claims to wrongful search and seizure and defamation claims. Dennis is also experienced in commercial matters, having represented banks and creditors in fraud, collection, and customer complaint and foreclosure actions.

Dennis holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and earned his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law, where he graduated cum laude. During law school, Dennis was a legal writing instructor and an articles editor of the Maine Law Review. Upon graduation, he received the Faculty Significant Achievement Award. Following law school, Dennis served as a law clerk for the Honorable Jon Levy of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court.

Before becoming an attorney, Dennis worked as a marketing and database manager for a legal publishing company. He uses his business management experience to understand the challenges that Maine employers face in the current legal environment.

Dennis has been appointed as a Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association's Business Litigation General Committee within the Tort Trial & Insurance practice section for 2009-2010.  Appointment to a leadership position within this ABA section is a recognition of his abilities and reputation among some 36,000 members of the section. 

Dennis lives in the Kennebec Valley, with his wife Diane and their three children. Away from the office, Dennis enjoys spending time with family and playing guitar.
